Effective August 31, 2016, Advicare will no longer be doing business in South Carolina.

Although Advicare Advocate will no longer be a part of the Healthy Connections Prime program, you will continue to receive your health care services, including prescription drugs, either through another Medicare-Medicaid plan or under Original Medicare and Healthy Connections Medicaid. There will be no gap in coverage for Medicaid, Medicare, or Medicare Part D prescription drugs (also known as “Part D”)The specifics of what happens with your coverage depends on which county you live in. You may have already received letters from the state or your new Medicare-Medicaid plan about these changes.

For more information on how this will impact your current coverage, please read the letter(s) below.

 

If you live in Aiken, Anderson, Cherokee, Dorchester, Greenwood or Oconee counties, please reference this letter.

If you live in a county not listed above, please reference this letter.

If you are a provider, please reference this letter. Please note, providers will able to submit claims for dates of service, up to and including, August 31, 2016.
